Installers from Balfour Beatty plc have been busy in Telford this week, installing our one-piece rubber speed cushions to replace asphalt speed humps which had deteriorated to the point that they no longer influenced driver behaviour.
Made from recycled tyre rubber, our speed cushions flex to the camber of the road and require no excavation, allowing installation in less than 30 minutes. Available in heights of 65mm or 75mm, each unit weighs 170kg / 180kg, offering maximum stability and impact absorption with less risk of dislodgement or damage.
All our speed cushions are available in black or red and incorporate high visibility traffic direction markings.
