New Pedestrian Refuge Point In Switzerland

June 9, 2021

We’ve recently received these brilliant photos from Switzerland, where our rubber two-piece traffic islands have been installed to create new pedestrian refuges in the municipality of Cossonay.

The two-piece islands are designed to accommodate a range of bollards and signage, and feature retroreflective glass eyes for increased visibility. The islands were installed in just a few hours, minimising disruption while saving time and money.

Rosehill Highways traffic islands are large rubber units which offer excellent stability and impact absorption. Like all our products they are surface-mounted and require no excavation.

Thanks to Melanie Wirz for the photos.
