Narrow Cycle Lane Defenders installed in Oldbury

October 22, 2020

Our Narrow Cycle Lane Defenders have been installed along Bromford Road in Oldbury to create a new segregated cycle lane funded by the government’s Emergency Active Travel Fund (EATF). The busy road connects Oldbury with West Bromwich and runs past Sandwell & Dudley train station, making it an ideal location for a new protected cycle lane to help facilitate active travel.

Reflective reboundable bollards are fitted to the first and last Narrow Cycle Lane Defender of each section, and every unit is fitted with retroreflective glass eyes for enhanced visibility.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, our innovative surface-mounted products are made using recycled tyre rubber and require no excavation, meaning they can be installed in hours not days.
