This recent installation on School Lane in Blackburn features a pair of our TI-2000 Heritage Traffic Islands, installed to create a speed-calming chicane which forces vehicles to slow down and give way to oncoming traffic.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, our heritage traffic islands are made from recycled tyre rubber, making them a sustainable alternative to concrete or bitumen. Like all our products they are surface-mounted and require no excavation, minimising disruption while saving time and money.
