The Rosehill Highways team have been in Northumberland recently, installing our solid rubber two-piece speed cushions on the newly resurfaced roads of Cramlington.
The new cushions replace crumbling asphalt speed humps which were failing to calm traffic effectively, and will help to enforce the road’s 20mph speed limit.
Our innovative speed cushions incorporate a unique underside profile that moulds itself to the road surface without the need for excavation, allowing installation in less than 30 minutes. Manufactured from recycled rubber, each 280kg unit saves 185kg of carbon emissions.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, our speed cushions are available in black or red, with the option to incorporate high visibility traffic direction markings as required.
