Traffic Island Pinch Points in Scotland

November 23, 2020

Here’s a unique installation of our DI-1500H rubber traffic islands from Kilbarchan in Scotland which we’ve just completed on behalf of Sustrans. The DI-1500H islands have been cut in half to create protected crossing points on a road outside a primary school to improve the safety of pupils crossing the road and encourage more families to walk to school.

Our versatile rubber traffic islands are large rubber units, offering maximum stability and impact absorption, and like all our products they are surface-mounted and require no excavation.
