Speed Cushions Installed On Queen Victoria Street In Rochdale

November 15, 2022

On Queen Victoria Street in Rochdale, a series of our one-piece solid rubber speed cushions have replaced existing modular cushions which had failed and were falling apart.

Produced using recycled tyre rubber, our sustainable traffic calming solutions help local authorities reduce their carbon footprint — each 170kg speed cushion saves 112kg of carbon emissions!

As well as being a more sustainable alternative to bitumen-based cushions, our surface mounted products also help to reduce cost and road disruption. Where bitumen-based speed cushions need to be formed on-site and left to cool, our prefabricated cushions feature a unique underside profile that moulds itself to the road surface, allowing them to be bolted into place in less than 30 minutes.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, our one and two-piece speed cushions are available in black or red with the option to incorporate high visibility directional markings as required.
