Road safety on the A1147 in Northumberland has been improved using our innovative rubber Speed Cushions to help calm traffic approaching a busy junction. The new cushions sit either side of an existing pedestrian refuge flanked by a speed camera, providing peace of mind when crossing the road.
The recycled rubber speed cushions flex to the camber of the road and require no excavation, allowing installation in less than 30 minutes, with each 170kg unit saving 112.5kg of carbon emissions.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, our speed cushions are available in black or red, with the option to incorporate high visibility traffic direction markings as required.
