It’s great to be back in Leeds city centre, where the project to redevelop the busy junction at Park Square East has now been completed. Featuring an extended pedestrian refuge between the road and newly extended cycle lane, the updated junction has been designed to improve the safety of cyclists approaching one of Leeds’ busiest streets – The Headrow.
Rosehill Highways traffic islands are large rubber units which offer excellent stability and impact absorption, and can be extended to suit the road layout; one-piece islands can be extended to any length while the larger two-piece traffic islands can be extended both length and width ways.
The islands were cut to fit around traffic signal posts and were installed in just a few hours, minimising disruption while saving time and money. Like all our products they are surface-mounted and require no excavation.
