On Darwen Street in Blackburn, two of our Heritage RI-1800 traffic islands have been installed to create a pedestrian refuge that provides a safe crossing point on this busy main road.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, our heritage traffic islands are made from recycled tyre rubber, making them a sustainable alternative to concrete or bitumen. Like all our products they are surface-mounted and require no excavation, minimising disruption while saving time and money.
