Chicane On Queen Victoria Street, London

November 12, 2021

This chicane on Queen Victoria Street in Central London, installed in 2018 using our solid rubber islands, slows traffic on approach to a police checkpoint. The surface-mounted units are regularly removed and reinstalled, allowing the width of the road to be increased for special events, parades, and access.

Sustainably manufactured in the UK using recycled tyre rubber, our innovative traffic calming solutions are ideal for both temporary and permanent schemes and offer excellent stability and impact absorption.
