In an effort to enhance cyclist safety and confidence, a new protective measure has been implemented along the cycle lane on Airthrey Road, near the University campus in Stirling, Scotland. The route now features 110 Rosehill Highways Narrow Cycle Lane Defenders, designed to prevent vehicles from encroaching into the lane, protecting cyclists, and fostering a more cycle-friendly environment in the area.
Our durable NCLDs are designed to protect cyclists from traffic in both urban and rural environments, as temporary or permanent solutions. Manufactured using recycled rubber, they offer a sustainable preformed option compared to in-situ cast concrete or bitumen alternatives, reducing installation time and inconvenience, and providing both cost and time savings.
