On First Avenue in Southampton, our innovative rubber Lane Separators have been used to create fully segregated cycle lanes designed to protect cyclists from other vehicles. The route has a high volume of traffic, including many heavy-duty vehicles coming to and from the port, making it ideal for the largest cycle lane delineator in our range, the Lane Separator.
Our substantial Lane Separators are specifically designed for roads with heavy traffic or higher speed limits due to their size and strength. Each unit is 500mm wide and 130mm high (replicating kerb height) and available with different kerb profiles – this installation features the half-battered profile.
Each of our solid rubber Lane Separators saves 48.3kg of carbon emissions, using recycled tyre shred to create robust and sustainable solutions while helping authorities and contractors to reduce their carbon footprint.
